Responsibilities
- Assist with the cleaning and maintenance of public areas including lobbies, hallways, stairwells, and elevators to ensure a consistently clean environment.
- Support housekeeping staff by delivering linens, supplies, and amenities to guest rooms and service areas efficiently.
- Perform floor care duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
- Maintain cleanliness of service corridors, storage closets, and janitorial carts to promote safety and organization.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure swift resolution and guest safety.
- Follow all health and safety protocols related to industrial cleaning and custodial procedures.
- Support the overall cleanliness and appearance of the hotel by participating in deep cleaning projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial roles is highly preferred; hospitality experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and industrial cleaning equipment.
- Demonstrated custodial experience with an understanding of safety standards in a commercial environment.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy supplies, and perform cleaning tasks for extended periods.
