Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager and Bilingual English-Spanish to lead and oversee complex construction projects from inception to completion. In this vital role, you will coordinate all phases of construction, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your expertise in construction management, project scheduling, and site coordination will drive project success while fostering strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members. Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
- Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction management software to track progress and milestones.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure seamless communication and project alignment.
- Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to verify project requirements and specifications.
- Manage procurement processes including construction estimating and bid analysis with HeavyBid or comparable tools.
- Oversee daily construction site activities, ensuring safety protocols are followed and quality standards are maintained.
- Utilize ProCore, Bluebeam, Civil 3D, and other industry-standard software for project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Monitor project progress through regular site inspections and schedule updates; adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations and regulatory requirements related to construction projects.
- Foster effective project coordination among team members by managing time efficiently and prioritizing tasks effectively.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in project scheduling, site supervision, and contract administration.
- Extensive knowledge of construction site operations including blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and civil 3D applications.
- Demonstrated proficiency with construction management software such as Primavera P6, ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, or equivalent tools.
- Hands-on experience with construction estimating processes and contract negotiations.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies specific to heavy civil or commercial construction projects.
- Strong understanding of safety standards and regulations governing construction sites.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
