American Traveler is seeking a licensed RN for a Long Term Care (LTC) position at a skilled nursing facility in Wisconsin, requiring BLS certification and availability to work every weekend on rotating PM and NOC shifts.

Rotating PM and NOC shifts with a biweekly schedule: Week 1 – Saturday & Sunday 1:00pm–10:30pm, Wednesday 1:00pm–10:30pm, Thursday 9:00pm–6:30am; Week 2 – Saturday & Sunday 6:00am–10:30pm, Wednesday 2:00pm–10:30pm, Friday 10:00pm–6:30am

Active WI RN license or compact RN license currently in hand

Current BLS/BCLS certification required

Minimum two-year degree in nursing required; four-year degree preferred

1+ years of related nursing experience preferred

Strong accuracy and attention to detail required

Responsibilities include timely communication of significant resident condition changes to physicians and families

Conduct resident assessments and maintain accurate, thorough resident records
-
Administer medications following the 5 Rights of medication administration

Perform wound care assessments as needed
-
Serve as floor leader by assessing and directing situations as they arise
-
Assist CNAs in responding to call lights and monitor residents for changes in condition
-
Required to report any allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation to the Director of Nursing and Administrator
