The Light Source is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to support our order fulfillment and distribution operations. If you enjoy hands-on work, take pride in accuracy, and thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment, we'd like to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Verify orders before shipment to ensure quality and accuracy standards are met.
- Create and apply shipping labels using company shipping systems.
- Process shipments through UPS, FedEx, freight carriers, and other delivery services.
- Prepare shipping documentation, including packing slips and Bills of Lading (BOLs).
- Load, unload, and organize outgoing shipments.
- Package products securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Coordinate with warehouse and production teams to ensure on-time order fulfillment.
- Maintain an organized shipping area and ensure inventory is properly staged for shipment.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse best practices.
- Support additional warehouse and logistics activities as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous shipping, warehouse, fulfillment, or logistics experience preferred.
- Experience using shipping software and carrier portals is a plus.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn warehouse systems.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Reliable attendance and positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. regularly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday.
- Ability to safely work in a warehouse environment.
- Comfortable operating pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment (training provided as needed).
