In addition, you will facilitate preliminary diagnostic vision assessments, provide expert education regarding contact lens protocols, and support clinicians in maintaining an optimized operational workflow.

Primary Responsibilities
- Facilitate a professional reception for patients, ensuring an exemplary initial representation of the practice.
- Authenticate patient identification and oversee the administrative protocols for intake and discharge.
- Manage high-volume telephonic communications and adjudicate routine inquiries with professional dispatch.
- Orchestrate complex scheduling to ensure the optimization of patient throughput and clinic resources.
- Administer strategic patient engagement and retention initiatives, including recall and reminder systems.
- Execute the collection of co-payments, deductibles, and other outstanding financial liabilities.
- Contribute to meticulous daily fiscal balancing and reconciliation operations.
- Conduct foundational ophthalmic diagnostics, including autorefraction, non-contact tonometry, and advanced retinal imaging.
- Deconstruct complex testing procedures for patients to mitigate anxiety and enhance the clinical experience.
- Assist in the preparation of clinical prescriptions and the execution of administrative directives.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Possession of a high school diploma or recognized equivalent or 10 years of customer service-related work experience.
- Proficient computer literacy and the aptitude to master specialized healthcare software architectures.
- The capacity to manage concurrent priorities with composure within a high-pressure environment.
- A profound commitment to the delivery of distinguished patient service.
Additional Qualification (Not required)
- Demonstrated history in high-end hospitality, concierge service, retail management, or healthcare.
- Prior professional tenure within a medical, optometric, or ophthalmic clinical environment.
- While prior experience in the ophthalmic field is welcomed, it remains secondary to a candidate's potential. We provide comprehensive pedagogical support for all clinical and administrative mandates.
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
