Duties
- prepare garnishes, restocking supplies, and maintaining bar cleanliness to ensure efficient service.
- Clean and organize bar areas, including bar cleaning, food handling stations, and storage spaces, adhering to food service bar safety compliance standards.
- Buss tables and clear empty glasses or dishes promptly to maintain a tidy venue environment.
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies and equipment with proper safety techniques.
- Support food preparation activities when needed, including basic food handling and catering setup.
- Clover POS for cash handling, order processing, and transaction accuracy.
- Maintain excellent communication with team members to coordinate venue beverage service and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food industry standards, including venue beverage service protocols.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on bar experience or banquet/catering experience preferred.
- Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail in bar cleaning and general venue sanitation.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and food handling procedures.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Clover POS for efficient cashiering and order management.
- Excellent customer service skills with clear communication abilities to engage guests positively.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately.
- Experience working in hospitality settings with knowledge of food safety standards and venue beverage service protocols.
- Previous experience or related roles in the food industry are advantageous.
