Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring each drink meets quality standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service that enhances their overall experience.
- Manage POS Toast for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling regulations at all times.
- Monitor guest consumption responsibly, ensuring compliance with alcohol service laws and promoting a safe environment.
- Restock supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages efficiently to keep the bar fully stocked during busy hours.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during events like banquets or catering functions, demonstrating strong time management skills.
Experience
- Previous experience working as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous for efficient order processing.
- Demonstrated ability to handle cash transactions accurately using retail math and basic math skills.
- Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills to engage diverse clientele.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures within the food industry.
- Experience serving in high-volume environments requiring quick thinking and effective time management.
- Additional experience in brewing or hospitality roles related to food service or catering will be considered a plus.
