Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled <PERSON>/Painter to join our vibrant construction and renovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming spaces through expert painting techniques, ensuring high-quality finishes on residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise in surface preparation, coating application, and color coordination will be vital to delivering exceptional results that exceed client expectations. Duties
- Prepare surfaces meticulously through sanding, scraping, caulking, plastering, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
- Apply paint using various methods including brush painting, roller painting, spray painting (including airless paint spraying and conventional spraying), and the use of power tools for efficient coverage
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to accurately execute painting tasks aligned with project specifications
- Perform structural and surface painting on diverse materials such as stucco, masonry, concrete, and wood framing during renovation or new construction projects
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely while maintaining compliance with safety regulations and respiratory protection protocols
- Conduct surface preparation for construction spray painting and coating applications on both interior and exterior surfaces
- Assist with related tasks such as fixture installation, drywall finishing, carpentry (including trim carpentry), masonry work, welding, and general handyman duties as needed
- Maintain a clean work environment by properly storing tools and materials while adhering to safety protocol guidelines at all times
- Collaborate effectively with team members by interpreting schematics and technical drawings to ensure precise execution of all painting activities
Experience
- Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings within residential or commercial settings
- Strong background in construction site experience with a focus on surface preparation and application of various coatings including industrial painting techniques
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers (airless and conventional), brushes, rollers, and scaffolding or ladder use for elevated work
- Knowledge of color theory to achieve desired aesthetic effects and visual color comparison skills for accurate color matching
- Familiarity with safety regulations related to construction painting including respiratory protection measures and safe handling of hazardous materials
- Experience in renovation projects involving plastering, stucco application, fixture installation, restoration work, or remodeling is highly desirable
- Basic math skills for measuring surfaces accurately and calculating paint quantities efficiently
- Additional handyman skills such as carpentry (frame carpentry), caulking, remodeling, concrete finishing, masonry work, welding or maintenance are a plus

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per hour
