Business Systems Analyst – Asset Management (USA | Hybrid)
We’re hiring an experienced Business Systems Analyst to work on core investment platforms
and data systems within asset management.
This role sits between business and technology teams, helping design, implement, and improve
systems used by traders, portfolio managers, and operations.
What You’ll Work On
● Investment systems: OMS, EMS, PMS, IBOR
● Fixed income and OTC products (bonds, swaps, CDS, FX, repo)
● Data analytics, reporting, and system integrations
● Front-to-back office investment workflows
Key Responsibilities
● Gather business requirements from traders, operations, and risk teams
● Translate requirements into functional/technical specifications
● Support implementation and enhancement of OMS/EMS/PMS/IBOR systems
● Work on system integrations (APIs, FIX, data pipelines)
● Ensure data accuracy across trades, positions, and risk data
● Build reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions
● Support testing (UAT/SIT) and system upgrades
Must-Have Experience
● 5–10+ years as a Business Systems Analyst in asset management / financial services
● Hands-on experience with OMS, EMS, PMS, or IBOR platforms
● Strong knowledge of fixed income products (bonds, MBS, ABS, etc.)
● Experience with OTC derivatives (swaps, CDS, FX, repo)
● Understanding of trade lifecycle, pricing, and risk
Technical Skills
● Strong SQL (data analysis, queries, reporting)
● Experience with data integration, APIs, ETL
● Exposure to Python / Power BI / Excel (advanced) is a plus
● Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps
Nice to Have
● Experience with Bloomberg / S&P Global / market data systems
● Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
● Experience in Agile environments
