As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and experienced CDL Driver with a background in asphalt to join our team.
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a CDL Driver with prior asphalt experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting asphalt materials to various job sites safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of asphalt operations and the ability to operate heavy machinery.
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport asphalt materials to and from job sites
- Operate CDL Class A or B vehicles, including dump trucks and asphalt tankers
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and functionality
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Assist with loading and unloading asphalt materials as needed
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- Valid CDL Class A or B license with tanker endorsement
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CDL Driver, preferably in the asphalt industry
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Knowledge of asphalt materials and operations
- Ability to operate heavy machinery and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
