We are seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our team in providing exceptional guest experiences. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in setting the tone for their visit. Your primary responsibility will be to greet guests warmly, manage reservations, and ensure a smooth flow of service within the restaurant.
Duties
- Greet guests as they arrive and provide them with a warm welcome.
- Manage the seating chart and ensure efficient seating of guests while minimizing wait times.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations as needed.
- Maintain an organized waiting area and assist guests with any inquiries regarding menu items or services.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless communication and guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns promptly and effectively, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Utilize POS system for managing reservations and guest information efficiently.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality and customer service throughout each shift.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant setting is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with POS or similar systems is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
- A positive attitude and a passion for helping others in the hospitality industry are essential.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism with staff and guest.
