Automotive Sales Associate Perfect Auto Collection – Akron, Ohio
Perfect Auto Collection is seeking an energetic, motivated, and customer-focused Automotive Sales Associate to help clients purchase luxury, sport, and exotic vehicles.
Most of our business is handled through phone, internet, text, video, and out-of-state transactions, so the right candidate must be strong with communication, follow-up, CRM usage, and building trust without always meeting the customer in person.
We are looking for someone who wants to sell cars the right way: professionally, honestly, consistently, and with a strong commitment to process.
Responsibilities
- Respond quickly to incoming leads by phone, text, email, and video.
- Follow up consistently with active, unsold, and previous customers.
- Build relationships with clients locally and nationwide.
- Present vehicle features, benefits, condition, CarFax, options, and value clearly.
- Schedule showroom appointments, virtual appointments, and video walkarounds.
- Use the CRM properly and maintain accurate customer notes.
- Follow the dealership sales process from lead to delivery.
- Work with managers to structure deals, negotiate professionally, and close sales.
- Maintain strong product knowledge of luxury, sport, and exotic vehicles.
- Help create a high-level customer experience before, during, and after the sale.
- Ask for reviews, referrals, and repeat business.
Qualifications
- Automotive sales experience preferred, but strong sales experience in another industry may be considered.
- Strong phone, text, email, and follow-up skills.
- Comfortable working with out-of-state clients and virtual transactions.
- Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.
- Ability to follow a process and stay consistent.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to train daily.
- Comfortable using CRM systems and dealership software.
- Ability to handle objections and negotiate professionally.
- Luxury, highline, performance, or exotic vehicle experience is a plus.
- Bilingual or multilingual communication skills are a plus, but not required.
Compensation
This position includes a $3,500 monthly draw, guaranteed for the first two months.
Commission and bonus opportunities include:
- $500 per vehicle sold
- $1,500 bonus at 12 vehicles sold
- Additional $2,000 bonus at 16 vehicles sold
- Additional $2,000 bonus at 20 vehicles sold
- 20% of eligible trade-in ACV/value difference, subject to written pay plan terms
- $1,000 first-place monthly sales bonus
- Additional KPI-based requirements tied to commission and bonus eligibility
This pay plan is designed for a salesperson who can sell volume, follow up properly, protect gross, maintain CRM discipline, and create a professional customer experience.
There is strong earning potential, but performance must be achieved the right way: with honesty, documentation, process, teamwork, and customer trust.
Final compensation details, draw terms, commission eligibility, bonus qualifications, KPI requirements, chargebacks, and payout timing will be outlined in the written pay plan.
