We are seeking a qualified DME Specialist to join our DME team. Core responsibilities include:

Assist with insurance verification/authorization for the DME department when necessary

Assist with fitting and applying braces, crutches, and other orthopedic soft goods

Maintain/oversee clean and well-stocked DME inventory areas in various office locations
-
Creates a positive patient experience by being polite, compassionate, and professional

Other duties as assigned by management

Candidate must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
-
Knowledge of Medical Insurance Guidelines and requirements

Knowledge of medical terminology
-
Excellent customer service skills – minimum 2 years

Travel to all locations

DME experience preferred but not required

Medical office background experience preferred

Multi-tasker

Candidate should be familiar with EMR/Electronic Health/Medical Record Systems
