Work days align with the DCS Student Calendar.
Hours: 10:30AM – 1:15PM (approximate times/schedule based on building assignment)
Compensation:
$13.90 per hour
- Pension plan through Michigan Public School Employees Retirement System (MPSERS)

This position does not qualify for medical benefits.
Summary:
Supervise students in the lunchroom to ensure a safe, orderly, and clean lunch period.
Essential Job Functions

Assist students in entering and exiting the lunchroom in an orderly fashion

Help to create a positive lunchroom environment

Be aware of students with food allergies and monitor when necessary

Wipe off tables and sweep floors during and between lunches

Work collaboratively with Food & Nutrition staff in regards to serving procedures

Assists in other areas as directed by building principal

Reliable attendance and punctuality to assignment required

Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
-
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
-
Demonstrated ability to work with parents, students and staff

Good communication and organizational skills
-
Ability to be self-directed and ability to identify and solve problems

Good attendance is important for this position and is expected
