Overview
Join our team as a Countertop Fabricator / Polisher and play a key role in crafting beautiful custom countertops for residential and commercial projects. In this hands-on position, you will fabricate, shape, and polish a variety of countertop materials, including granite, quartz, marble, and other natural and engineered stone surfaces. You'll work with precision equipment and skilled teammates to ensure every countertop meets the highest standards of quality, craftsmanship, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret shop drawings and fabrication specifications to accurately produce custom countertops.
- Operate fabrication equipment, saws, routers, polishers, and other shop tools safely and efficiently.
- Fabricate, shape, cut, and polish stone countertops and edge profiles to precise measurements.
- Inspect finished pieces to ensure they meet company quality standards before installation.
- Maintain fabrication equipment and keep tools and workstations clean, organized, and in safe working condition.
- Safely move and handle stone slabs and finished countertops using appropriate lifting equipment and procedures.
- Collaborate with the fabrication, scheduling, and installation teams to ensure projects are completed accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Previous countertop fabrication, stone polishing, or related manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to read and interpret measurements and shop drawings.
- Comfortable operating fabrication machinery, hand tools, and power tools.
- Ability to safely lift and move heavy materials.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality craftsmanship.
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Language Requirements
English or Spanish proficiency preferred (bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply).
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
