Job Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing project execution from job intake through final installation while ensuring projects remain on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with company and safety standards. This position serves as the primary liaison between vendors, production personnel, installers, and customers to ensure successful project completion and operational efficiency.
Primary Responsibilities
Vendor Management & Procurement
· Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
· Negotiate competitive pricing and favorable purchasing terms to maximize company profitability.
· Continuously evaluate vendor performance, pricing structures, and product quality.
· Source alternative vendors when necessary to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
Project Management & Scheduling
· Master and maintain all functions within Square Coil software.
· Enter and manage work orders accurately and timely.
· Schedule installations and coordinate project timelines.
· Track production progress through the shop and communicate status updates to management and customers.
· Monitor project deadlines and proactively address scheduling conflicts or production delays.
· Coordinate resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
Production Support
· Monitor shop production schedules and workload.
· Assist production personnel when projects are behind schedule or require additional support.
· Work collaboratively with shop staff to maintain workflow efficiency and meet customer deadlines.
· Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.
Installation Management
· Coordinate with installation teams to ensure projects are properly scheduled and staffed.
· Conduct follow-up communication with installers regarding project status and completion requirements.
· Visit job sites as necessary to verify installation quality, safety compliance, and schedule adherence.
· Ensure installations are performed according to company standards and customer expectations.
Safety & Compliance
· Maintain records of all installer OSHA certifications, training records, and required credentials.
· Ensure all safety training is current and documented.
· Conduct truck safety training for installation personnel.
· Obtain signed acknowledgments confirming installers have received training on vehicle operation, equipment use, and safety procedures.
· Promote and enforce company safety policies and procedures.
Documentation & Reporting
· Ensure installation reports are completed and submitted daily.
· Verify all project documentation is uploaded into the appropriate job files.
· Maintain accurate records of project progress, completion reports, and customer documentation.
· Provide status reports to management as requested.
Fleet & Inventory Management
· Monitor installation vehicle condition, organization, and cleanliness.
· Ensure installation trucks are cleaned and maintained on a weekly basis.
· Collect weekly inventory requests from installation teams.
· Coordinate replenishment of tools, materials, and equipment necessary for field operations.
· Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels and tracking company assets.
Additional Duties
· Support management with operational planning and workflow improvements.
· Assist with special projects and operational initiatives as assigned.
· Perform other duties necessary to support company operations and customer satisfaction.

Reporting Structure

Physical Requirements
· Ability to travel to job sites.
· Ability to work in office, shop, and field environments.
· Ability to inspect installations and operational activities in the field.
Pay Determined after Interview
