The ideal candidate will be courteous, friendly & have a professional manner.
Excellent communication & customer services skills required. We are looking for a person with the ability to work well independently, and in a team-orientated environment.

Reports to: Office Manager
The Front Desk Receptionist / Administrative Assistant performs routine clerical, secretarial and administrative work in answering telephones, receiving the public, providing customer assistance, data processing, and record-keeping.
Essential Functions:

* Answers central telephone system and directs calls accordingly.
* Receives the public and answers questions, in person and by telephone; responds to inquiries from employees, members, citizens and others and refers, when necessary,
to the appropriate person, manager or department.
* Operates office machines as required; maintains central copier and postage machine.
* Prepares outgoing mail; sorts and distributes incoming mail
* Maintains office and kitchen supply inventory.
* Keeps the reception area and kitchen tidy; waters plants weekly.
* Assists with mailings; envelopes to be pre-stuffed and ready for mailings.
* Composes, types and edits correspondence, reports, memoranda and other material.
* Develops and maintains office forms and procedures and assists with
administrative tasks.
* No personal calls during business hours.

Required Education and Experience
* Graduation from high school or GED equivalent with specialized course work in
general office practices such as typing, filing, accounting and bookkeeping.
* One year of increasingly responsible related experience, or any equivalent combination
of related education and experience.
* Working knowledge/proficiency with Microsoft Suite including Word and Excel.
