Harvard Rehab is seeking a dynamic and strategic Human Resources Manager to lead our HR initiatives and foster a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace environment. Duties
- Develop and execute comprehensive talent acquisition strategies to attract top talent through effective sourcing channels and employer branding initiatives.
- Oversee employee onboarding, orientation programs, and ongoing training & development efforts to enhance skills and engagement.
- Manage performance management processes, including employee evaluations, goal setting, and feedback systems to support continuous improvement.
- Administer employee benefits programs, payroll systems such as Workday or ADP, and ensure compliance with employment & labor laws including OSHA regulations.
- Lead conflict management efforts by mediating disputes and fostering a respectful workplace culture.
- Drive HR program management initiatives such as succession planning, organization design, change management, and process improvements.
- Supervise HR staff and collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning, human capital management, and workforce development initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in supervising HR teams with strong leadership skills in managing multiple HR functions simultaneously.
- Extensive knowledge of employment & labor law, FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act), workers' compensation policies, and OSHA standards.
- Demonstrated expertise in talent acquisition, HR sourcing strategies, employee relations, and benefits administration.
- Strong negotiation skills combined with excellent communication abilities for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Experience with performance management systems, training & development programs, and organizational design principles.
- Ability to analyze data for decision-making purposes while maintaining a strategic outlook aligned with organizational goals.
