Responsibilities
- Conduct electrical diagnostics to identify faults and troubleshoot issues using schematics and technical drawings
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections on heavy equipment and machinery to ensure safety and efficiency
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to accurately diagnose problems and implement solutions
- Use tools such as ohmmeters and other testing devices to measure electrical components and verify system integrity
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance activities, and diagnostics performed on equipment
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate repair schedules and prioritize urgent repairs or inspections
- Support the procurement of maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) supplies to ensure availability of necessary parts
Skills
- Strong electrical diagnostics skills with experience interpreting schematics and technical drawings
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment mechanics and systems
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters for electrical testing
- Experience with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) activities in industrial or construction environments
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals accurately
- Technical proficiency in troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical issues
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and safety standards
