Job Overview

Duties
- Manage the entire parts inventory lifecycle, including sourcing, ordering, receiving, storing, and distributing marine parts and accessories.
- Develop strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and sourcing options that optimize costs and quality.
- Coordinate with internal teams to fulfill parts requests efficiently while maintaining optimal stock levels through demand forecasting and inventory control strategies.
- Oversee shipping & receiving processes to ensure timely delivery of parts while adhering to safety standards and quality assurance protocols.
- Maintain detailed records of procurement activities, pricing negotiations, parts administration data entry, and internal communication logs for transparency and audit readiness.
Experience
- Proven experience in supply chain management within the marine industry.
- Demonstrated supplier management experience with a focus on negotiation and sourcing marine parts or OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) components.
- Basic mechanical knowledge of marine systems.
- Knowledge of procurement management principles including demand planning, pricing strategies, purchasing procedures, and parts sourcing techniques.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification preferred but not mandatory if willing to obtain training.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with effective internal communication to coordinate across departments seamlessly.
