Autumn House Williamsburg is a Cardinal Senior Living facility located at 4354 Mt Hope Road, Williamsburg, MI.
Autumn House Williamsburg offers the opportunity to work with a great team of professionals to ensure the residents' needs are met in a quality and safe environment.
Purpose: Ensure that all residents receive beauty shop services in-house.
Essential Functions: The following duties are considered essential to the contract. Qualified individuals must have the ability, with or without reasonable accommodation, to perform the following duties:

Beautician will pay monthly chair rental fee, purchase all supplies, and collect payment for services rendered.

Provide wash, set, cut, perm, and other beautician services to residents.

Schedule appointments.

Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of shop per policy and compliance guidelines.

Maintain adequate supplies.

Maintain updated chemical information forms.

Promotes and encourages resident independence while maintaining resident dignity, individuality, and confidentiality.

Follow Infection Control policies for Beauty Salon.

Attend and participate in staff meetings, projects, special events, committees, and mandatory trainings as appropriate.
Requirements: Education & Knowledge Requirements- Specific education, certification, and licensure:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Valid State of Michigan Beautician license.

Experience working in a senior living facility preferred but not necessary
Essential Abilities:

Ability to walk, bend, push, pull, and stand for extended periods of time.

Ability to do multiple tasks, such as communicating with residents while performing other duties.

Ability to perform the functions required to push a resident in a wheelchair.
