Responsibilities
- Install and configure telecommunications network cables, including Ethernet, fiber optic, and coaxial lines in residential and commercial settings
- Use hand tools, power tools, wire crimpers, wire strippers, and ladder use to accurately run cables through walls, attics, basements, and outdoor environments
- Operate company vehicles safely to reach job sites and transport necessary tools and equipment
- Conduct satellite dish installation and telephony setup for customer service enhancements
- Troubleshoot network issues using equipment testing tools and resolve connectivity problems efficiently
Skills
- Proven experience in network installation and telecommunications infrastructure work
- Hands-on experience with telecommunication cable installation in various environments
- Ability to use hand tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, power tools, and electrical testers effectively
This is a entry level position looking for someone whom wants to learn and have the ability to advance. There is 25% travel included for the job .
Most be able to pass a background check and be a US Citizen due to base access requirements.
