Lincoln of Bloomington is looking for a dependable, organized, and customer-focused Parts Counter Person to join our growing team.

The Parts Counter Person will play an important role in keeping our Parts and Service Departments operating efficiently. This position will be responsible for looking up and ordering parts, maintaining accurate inventory, processing online parts orders, shipping, and keeping the Parts Department clean and organized.
Automotive parts experience is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right person who has a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Look up automotive parts using dealership and manufacturer systems
- Assist technicians and service advisors with parts identification and availability
- Order parts from Ford/Lincoln and aftermarket suppliers
- Receive, verify, and properly stock incoming parts
- Maintain accurate parts inventory and assist with regular inventory counts
- Process and fulfill online parts orders
- Package and ship parts orders accurately and efficiently
- Track shipments and assist with resolving shipping issues
- Maintain an organized, clean, and professional Parts Department
- Return unused or incorrect parts according to dealership and vendor procedures
- Maintain accurate records of parts orders, receipts, and returns
- Communicate effectively with technicians, service advisors, vendors, and customers
- Follow dealership policies and safety procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Parts Manager
Qualifications
- Automotive parts experience preferred, but not required
- Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills
- Comfortable using computers and learning new software
- Ability to accurately identify and look up automotive parts
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively with technicians, service advisors, vendors, and customers
- Dependable and punctual
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift and move automotive parts and packages as needed
