Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team for afternoons and evenings in a fast-paced Billiards Hall in Longmont. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in supporting bartenders by ensuring the bar is well-stocked and organized, contributing to an exceptional guest experience, and serving food to patrons. This position is ideal for individuals looking to grow their skills in the food and beverage industry.
Duties
- Assist bartenders by preparing and replenishing supplies, including ice, garnishes, and glassware.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is properly stored and sanitized.
- Operate the POS system for processing orders and managing inventory.
- Help with food preparation as needed, ensuring timely service to guests.
- Communicate effectively with bartenders and other staff to ensure smooth operations during busy shifts.
- Handle cash register duties accurately when required.
- Support the kitchen team by assisting with any necessary tasks during peak hours.
Experience
- Previous experience in bartending or as a barback is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations is advantageous.
- Experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is a plus, especially within hotel or nightclub environments.
- Strong communication skills are essential for effective teamwork and guest interaction.
- A willingness to learn and help others in a fast-paced setting is crucial for success in this role.
