Service Team | Reverence Phoenix
Seasonal | Saturdays, June 20 through November 2026
Central Park North at Unity Market
Reverence Phoenix is a seasonal lunch counter at Central Park North. Three courses served standing at counter height across 3 to 4 rotations per service day. Up to 100 guests. No modifications. The menu is the menu. Your job is to make every guest feel like they belong here.
This is public-space hospitality. Outdoors. The guests are Harlem residents, park visitors, families, tourists. The crowd changes every week. The standard does not.
What the work involves:
Guest flow and rotation management. Menu communication. Beverage service including a non-alcoholic pairing program and by-the-glass options. Provisions kiosk support. Education is embedded in the experience, so you need to understand what you are serving and why.
What we are looking for:
People who are present, composed, and genuinely good with strangers. You do not need fine dining experience. You need awareness, reliability, and the ability to hold a room that does not have walls. Food knowledge or curiosity about fermentation, sourcing, and California cuisine is a strong plus.
Compensation:
$20 to $25/hour based on experience. One Fair Wage standard. No tip credit. No sub-minimum. Tips are not solicited or expected, but if gratuities are generated they are shared among the team.
