Are you an experienced manufacturing leader who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment? We are looking for a Manufacturing Supervisor to join our team and play a key role in driving safety, quality, productivity, and team performance.
In this role, you will work closely with the Manufacturing Manager while leading a team of hourly production employees and helping ensure daily production goals are met safely and efficiently.
- Lead and support hourly production employees in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Manage people and material resources to meet daily production goals.
- Monitor productivity, staffing levels, and production performance.
- Prepare and maintain production reports.
- Identify and address repetitive failures and production misses.
- Promote a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Ensure employees properly wear required PPE throughout their shifts.
- Coach employees on safe work practices and correct unsafe behaviors.
- Monitor production lines to ensure products meet quality and customer specifications.
- Coach employees on food-safe production practices and GMP compliance.
- Delegate and monitor cleaning responsibilities.
- Work closely with Manufacturing Management to improve production performance.
- 5+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience working with inventory or ERP systems.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing terminology and processes.
- Knowledge of production, shipping, receiving, and inventory operations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a must!
This is an active, hands-on manufacturing leadership position. Candidates must be able to:
- Remain on their feet for 10–12 hours.
- Lift up to 40 lbs. unassisted.
- Reach, bend, kneel, and climb while performing repetitive tasks.
- Work in both hot and cold environments.
- Properly wear required PPE for the entire shift.
- Quickly respond to alarms, noises, odors, visual hazards, and other workplace alerts.
