Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Snack Bar Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving a variety of snacks and beverages in our café setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, particularly in coffee and snack preparation, and possess strong time management skills to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. We are located inside the LA Fitness in McDonough
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using the POS system.
- Prepare and serve snacks, beverages, and coffee in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the snack bar area, ensuring all food handling guidelines are followed.
- Assist customers with any inquiries or special requests, providing helpful recommendations when needed.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently while ensuring basic math skills are utilized for accurate change.
- Monitor inventory levels of snacks and beverages, restocking as necessary to ensure availability.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and enhance customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or café environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
- Knowledge of food handling safety practices is desirable.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Must be able to work with 7am-3pm or 3pm-9pm
