Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented PCB Technician to join our team in Miami. This role is responsible for printed circuit board assembly, soldering, inspection, testing, troubleshooting, rework, and repair in a manufacturing or laboratory environment. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on electronics experience, understands ESD-safe work practices, and can work independently while maintaining high quality and safety standards.This is a safety-sensitive position. Employees in this role must follow all quality, safety, and work procedures and maintain fitness for duty at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, solder, modify, troubleshoot, inspect, test, and repair printed circuit boards and related electronic assemblies
- Perform hand soldering, de-soldering, rework, and component replacement on surface-mount and through-hole boards
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, PCB layouts, bills of materials, and work instructions
- Diagnose faults to the component level and determine appropriate corrective action
- Use test and diagnostic equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, function generators, microscopes, soldering stations, and rework tools
- Verify workmanship, fit, function, and compliance with quality standards and approved procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation of inspection, test, repair, and rework activities
- Follow ESD handling procedures and maintain an organized, clean, and safe workstation
- Report defects, nonconformances, equipment issues, and unsafe conditions promptly
- Use required PPE and follow all quality, environmental, health, and safety procedures
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in electronics, electrical engineering technology, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
- 5+ years of PCB technician, electronics assembly, electronics repair, or similar experience
- Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuits, PCB assembly, inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and repair
- Experience with hand soldering and rework for SMT and through-hole components
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, and technical work instructions
- Experience using electronic test equipment and hand tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to communicate clearly and follow written and verbal instructions in English
Preferred Qualifications
- IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001 familiarity or certification
- Experience in electronics manufacturing or a production environment
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Physical Requirements / Working Conditions
- Ability to perform detailed hand work with small components
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Frequent use of fine motor skills, repetitive hand motions, and close visual focus
- May work with microscopes, soldering and rework stations, hand tools, and test equipment
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull materials within established limits and use assistance for heavier items

This position is considered safety-sensitive due to work involving electronic assemblies, soldering equipment, tools, testing devices, and procedures where inattention or failure to follow instructions could result in injury, product damage, or equipment loss.
