Site Supervisor
Supervisory personnel must have two (2) years of facility protection experience at a level commensurate with the scope of work of the awarded contract. In addition, the supervisor must
meet the Qualifications set forth, The Site Supervisor is the Contractor’s day-to-day representative on site and must ensure CSO staff compliance with all contract requirements.
Supervisor Responsibilities
The supervisor must ensure that each post is staffed as required, that employees are properly uniformed and present a neat appearance, that each employee is familiar with his/her post and duties, and is fully certified.
The CSO’s supervisory personnel must be available at all times to receive and implement orders or special instructions from the CO/COR/ATR during emergency situations concerning matter which affect the operation, protection, and/or security of assigned areas.
The Supervisor must:
- Exercise individual judgment as to scheduling and utilizing CSO personnel.
- Provide to the ATR a current list of available qualified CSOs.
- Serve as the contact point between the Contractor and the ATR. The supervisor must receive all instructions and ensure the CSO force properly implements them.
- Receive complaints or reports of violations of CSO instructions from the ATR, COR, and/or FM, and initiate corrective action. The supervisor must resolve complaints about contractor policy, uniforms, etc. from CSO personnel.
- Conduct a security orientation on individual conduct and responsibility for CSO personnel prior to his/her duty assignments.
- The guards must receive final approval from the COR before applying for a PIV badge.
- When inspecting the CSO employees, the supervisor must ensure that:
1. A current copy of the regulations and instructions pertaining to the CSO post, the Contractor’s SOM, and Facility Post Orders are immediately available at each post ofduty
2. Each CSO understands and complies with the Contractor’s SOM, Facility Security Plan, and Facility Post Orders.
3. The supervisor, upon notification that a firearm has been discharged, must take the following actions:
a) Ensure that the ATR and appropriate local authorities are notified immediately.
b) Provide a written follow-up report of the incident to the ATR and the CO or COR within four (4) hours.

Availability:
Must be available to work all scheduled shifts and be available to work on short notice for call-offs.
