Responsibilities
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates to track health status
- Support residents with behavioral management techniques
- Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing housekeeping tasks such as cleaning resident rooms and common areas
Skills
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care environments is highly valued
- Strong knowledge of mental health care practices, including behavior management strategies
- Proficiency in vital signs measurement, and first aid/CPR certification
- Ability to operate standard passenger cars for transportation needs when required
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments is preferred
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members
