Duties
- Actively engage in outside sales efforts by prospecting new clients through cold calling, networking, and community outreach to expand the sales pipeline.
- Conduct compelling vehicle presentations and demonstrations to showcase features, benefits, and high-end models to prospective buyers.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and financing options with customers to close deals effectively while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Manage B2B (business-to-business) sales opportunities by establishing partnerships with corporate clients and fleet managers.
- Utilize CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software to track leads, follow up on inquiries, and maintain detailed records of customer interactions.
- Upsell additional products such as warranties, service packages, and accessories to maximize revenue per sale.
- Maintain inventory control by coordinating with the dealership’s inventory management system to ensure vehicle availability aligns with customer demand.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, from initial contact to post-sale follow-up, ensuring a positive experience.
- Support marketing initiatives by participating in promotional events and public speaking engagements to enhance brand visibility.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills by managing multiple client interactions simultaneously while adhering to dealership policies and procedures.
Skills
- Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or automobile sales with a focus on high-end vehicles or luxury brands.
- Excellent negotiation skills combined with the ability to close deals confidently and ethically.
- Strong B2B sales acumen for developing corporate accounts and fleet sales strategies.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to connect with diverse customer bases effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM software and inventory management tools to streamline sales processes.
- Exceptional communication skills for engaging customers via phone etiquette, public speaking, and face-to-face interactions.
