Description of Job:
SnapCare is seeking an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment supporting Telemetry and Med-Surg ED Hold patients at a Bay Area facility in Corpus Christi, Texas. This role is ideal for flexible, team-oriented nurses who are comfortable caring for higher patient volumes and managing cardiac-monitored patients in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to telemetry and ED hold patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms using GE telemetry systems
- Manage non-titrating cardiac drips per provider orders
- Perform patient assessments and respond to changes in condition
- Administer medications and IV therapies using Baxter IV pumps
- Collaborate with charge nurses, PCTs, unit coordinators, and interdisciplinary teams
- Accurately document patient care in Meditech 5.6
- Float to Med-Surg and Telemetry units as needed per facility policy
Qualifications:
- Active Texas RN license
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Telemetry or Med-Surg RN experience
- Strong cardiac monitoring and time-management skills
- Easygoing, friendly, and flexible personality
