St. James Catholic School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Prekindergarten 4 Teacher for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year. The ideal candidate will create a warm, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment that supports the social, emotional, spiritual, and academic growth of four-year-old learners. This educator will design hands-on learning experiences, foster early literacy and numeracy skills, and cultivate a joyful classroom culture rooted in Catholic values.

Qualifications:
- BS / BA Degree, preferably in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Florida Department of Education certificate is required, temporary or professional, or be eligible to become certified
- Must have Part 1 and 2 (40 hours) of Department of Children and Family Certified training and current CDA (or further education).
- Current FDLE and FBI screening passed.
- Experience caring for and engaging with children.
- Excellent classroom management.
- Must be supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
- Excellent lesson planning and presentation abilities incorporating instructional technologies and 21st century learning skills.
- Excellent oral and written English-language communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
- Good spelling and grammar required.
- Must have a professional demeanor.
