Job Summary

Duties
- Design and implement dynamic lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods
- Facilitate age-appropriate activities that support childhood development milestones and promote social-emotional learning
- Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies
- Support children with special education needs and participate in early intervention programs to ensure inclusive learning experiences
- Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independent exploration
- Conduct assessments of children’s progress using standardized testing methods and document developmental milestones
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and ensure comprehensive child welfare support
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or private school setting with classroom experience in early childhood education
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management techniques, and curriculum development strategies
- Familiarity with teaching physical education, literacy education, math concepts, and Montessori methods is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members
- Ability to implement lesson planning tailored to diverse learning needs including toddlers care and special education requirements
- Experience working with students on standardized testing preparations or tutoring sessions is a plus
- Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is preferred but not mandatory

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
