Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling and register accuracy
- Serve food and beverages promptly, upselling menu items to enhance guest experience
- Clear tables and bus tables efficiently to maintain cleanliness and readiness for new guests
- Assist in food preparation when needed, following proper food safety and sanitation standards
- Support kitchen staff with basic food handling tasks and ensure quick service in a fast-food or café environment
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, counters, and service stations according to sanitation guidelines
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve multiple tables while providing excellent customer care
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, cashiering, or retail math is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated newcomers!
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing sales upselling
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a quick service or fast-food restaurant setting
- Experience in serving, bussing, or kitchen operations is advantageous but not mandatory
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed
