Overview
We are seeking an energetic and highly experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee complex infrastructure and commercial construction projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
- Manage project teams including subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, and internal staff to promote seamless coordination and high performance.
- Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software; monitor progress and make adjustments as needed.
- Oversee construction site activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
- Review construction plans, blueprints, and specifications; ensure clarity and accuracy for all stakeholders.
- Control project costs through accurate estimating, cost management practices, and change order negotiations using HeavyBid or equivalent estimating tools.
- Facilitate communication among clients, contractors, architects, and regulatory agencies to resolve issues promptly.
- Ensure construction regulatory compliance by staying current with local laws and industry standards.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore or Bluebeam for documentation, reporting, and collaboration purposes.
- Lead contract negotiations and manage contractual obligations with vendors and subcontractors.
- Coordinate project schedules to optimize resource allocation; manage time effectively across multiple projects simultaneously.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and safety protocols; address any issues proactively.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on project status, risks, budgets, and schedules for executive review.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing complex infrastructure or commercial construction projects with a strong track record of successful delivery.
- Extensive knowledge of construction regulations, safety standards (OSHA), and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in project management software including Primavera P6, Primavera P3 (or equivalent), ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, Civil 3D, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Demonstrated ability in construction estimating and cost management; experience with construction budgeting tools is preferred.
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading and construction plans; ability to interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience managing teams in a construction management role; capable of motivating diverse groups toward common goals.
- Skilled in project scheduling coordination; adept at managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of construction site safety procedures and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, stakeholders, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel between job sites as needed.
- Construction site experience is essential; familiarity with managing heavy civil or infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management Engineering or related field preferred.

Pay: $155,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
