A school psychologist with expertise in telehealth services is needed to support student mental health and academic success through remote consultations and assessments. This contract position is based in Macon, GA, providing an opportunity to deliver essential psychological services within educational settings while utilizing virtual platforms.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychological evaluations and assessments via telehealth to identify student needs and learning challenges
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized intervention plans
- Providing counseling and behavioral support to students through virtual sessions
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting strategies accordingly
- Maintaining accurate and confidential records in compliance with educational regulations
- Offering professional recommendations to enhance student well-being and academic performance
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state certification or licensure for school psychology services
- Proven experience delivering telehealth psychological assessments and interventions
- Strong understanding of special education law, assessment tools, and intervention strategies
- Excellent communication skills with ability to engage students and staff remotely
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a virtual environment
