We're looking for an RN who sees nursing as more than a profession and desires to use their skills to make a meaningful difference in the lives of women and families. Aspire Women's Center is a non-profit (501)3 c with a religious exemption.
The right candidate will combine clinical excellence with genuine compassion, treating every person who enters our Center with dignity and respect. You should be comfortable working in a Christian ministry environment where prayer, faith, teamwork, and service are part of our daily work.
Position Overview
This unique position combines professional nursing care with compassionate pregnancy coaching in a Christ-centered environment. The RN provides medical services within the scope of the Center's medical program while walking alongside women and families facing pregnancy decisions and other challenging circumstances.
The ideal candidate is a committed Christian who desires to use both clinical skills and personal ministry to serve women and families with warmth, dignity, compassion, and excellence.
Training to provide limited obstetrical ultrasound will be provided to the appropriate candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Medical & Client Care
- Provide pregnancy testing and other approved medical services in accordance with Center policies and established medical standards of care.
- Provide STI testing and limited obstetrical ultrasound services once appropriately trained and qualified.
- Document clinical findings, observations, education, and medical care accurately in the patient's medical record.
- Identify clinical findings that may indicate concern for pregnancy viability or maternal health and consult with the Medical Director as appropriate.
- Respond to medical emergencies in accordance with the Center's established emergency procedures.
- Provide support and consultation to other members of the medical team.
- Maintain appropriate patient confidentiality and medical documentation.
- Remain current on pregnancy-related medical information, fetal development, abortion procedures and risks, adoption, parenting, and available community resources.
- Maintain current knowledge of the Center's referral network.
Pregnancy Coaching & Ministry
- Meet individually with clients in an atmosphere of warmth, respect, compassion, and confidentiality.
- Listen carefully to each client's concerns, needs, and circumstances and provide appropriate support, education, resources, and referrals.
- Provide accurate information and education regarding pregnancy options, including parenting, adoption, and abortion.
- Provide crisis intervention and emotional support when appropriate.
- Identify appropriate opportunities to share the love of Jesus Christ and the message of the Gospel with clients in accordance with Center policies.
- Pray with staff and clients as appropriate.
- Complete all required training before serving clients independently.
- Follow up with clients according to Center policies and guidelines.
- Consult with the Client Services Manager, Nurse Mangager, Medical Director, Executive Director or other appropriate team members regarding client situations when needed.
Administrative & Team Responsibilities
- Follow all medical, client-services, and administrative policies and procedures of the Center.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, prayer, and other team activities.
- Assist with general Center operations as needed, including answering phones, filing, copying, mailings, Boutique support, and other office responsibilities.
- Participate in the Center's educational and mentoring programs as assigned.
- Provide reasonable notice when unable to fulfill a scheduled work commitment except in emergency circumstances.
- Work collaboratively with employees and volunteers as part of the Center's team-based ministry approach.
Continuing Education & Professional Requirements
- Maintain an active Registered Nurse license in accordance with New Hampshire requirements.
- Maintain all required professional continuing education. The organization supports ongoing professional development and may reimburse employees for approved, industry-related continuing education expenses, subject to prior authorization and applicable reimbursement policies
- Maintain company-paid CPR certification
- Complete training and competency requirements for limited obstetrical ultrasound.
- Maintain ultrasound qualifications through required continuing education and competency assessment.
- Participate in ongoing Center training and professional development.
Community & Ministry Representation
As requested by the Executive Director, the RN may represent Aspire Women's Center with community partners and at outreach activities, including:
- Schools, school nurses, and health educators
- Community organizations and referral partners
- Public relations and awareness activities
- Ministry events
- Fundraising events
Qualifications
The successful candidate will:
- Be a committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
- Demonstrate a desire for evangelism and a heart for compassionate Christian service.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to the sanctity of human life and biblical sexual integrity.
- Agree with and be willing to uphold Aspire Women's Center's Mission Statement, Statement of Faith, Commitment of Care & Competence, and applicable policies.
- Hold a bachelor's degree in nursing or possess equivalent applicable education and experience.
- Hold a current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Hampshire, or be eligible to obtain appropriate New Hampshire licensure before beginning clinical duties.
- Be willing to become trained and qualified to provide limited obstetrical ultrasound services. Training will be provided.
- Demonstrate knowledge or experience related to prenatal/fetal and neonatal development and care a definite plus, but not a requirement.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication, teaching, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrate personal and professional initiative while working effectively within a collaborative ministry team.
- Be willing to perform responsibilities outside traditional nursing duties when needed to support the overall ministry.
- Successfully complete Aspire Women's Center's training program.
- Successfully complete required background screening.
- Meet all applicable Center training, competency, confidentiality, and professional requirements.
Preferred: Two or more years of experience in nursing, healthcare, counseling, social services, ministry, or another helping profession. Leadership or management experience is a plus.

Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
