Duties
- Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts and other heavy equipment to move, load, and unload stone materials safely and efficiently
- Use hand tools, power tools, and machining devices to cut, shape, polish, and assemble stone components according to specifications
- Measure and mark materials accurately to ensure precise fabrication aligned with project requirements
- Handle materials with care during transportation within the warehouse or fabrication area, maintaining safety protocols at all times
- Assist in the assembly of fabricated stone pieces for installation or further processing
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while adhering to quality standards
Requirements
- Proven experience with fabrication/installation processes, manufacturing environments, or construction projects involving stone or similar materials
- Proficiency in operating hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery such as forklifts and millwork machinery
- Familiarity with warehouse operations including safety procedures
- Ability to read technical drawings or specifications for accurate fabrication work
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail to ensure high-quality craftsmanship
- Physical ability to lift heavy stones and stand for extended periods; comfortable working in a physically demanding environment
