Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients and design teams to develop comprehensive interior concepts that align with project goals and client preferences.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time delivery while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Prepare detailed drawings and presentations using AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Rhino 3D, and Adobe Creative Suite to visualize design ideas effectively.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and vendors during renovation and remodeling phases to facilitate smooth workflows.
- Oversee lighting design elements and lighting sales processes to enhance aesthetic appeal and functionality of spaces.
- Draft contracts, review specifications, and ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct site visits for construction oversight, quality assurance, and troubleshooting to address any issues promptly.
- Assist in selecting color schemes based on color theory principles and interior design best practices to create cohesive environments.
Requirements
- Proven experience with interior design software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino 3D, Bluebeam, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of drafting techniques, CAD standards, lighting design principles, and construction processes.
- Knowledge of contracts management, budgeting strategies, renovation procedures, and remodeling projects.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple projects.
- Familiarity with lighting sales processes and lighting product specifications.
- Ability to communicate clearly with clients, vendors, contractors, and team members at all levels.
- A background in interior design or related field is preferred; additional skills in color theory and CAD drafting are highly valued.
