Duties
- Assist experienced electricians in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems across industrial and commercial sites
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to support accurate wiring and system setup
- Perform conduit bending, electrical wiring, and electrical system installation following safety procedures and compliance standards such as NFPA 70 and NEC
- Use hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other testing equipment to diagnose electrical issues and ensure proper functioning of systems
- Follow strict safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment on construction sites and within operational facilities
- Support the installation of low voltage systems and complex electrical circuits in accordance with project specifications
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to all safety regulations and quality standards
Requirements
- Prior experience or training in industrial or commercial electrician work is highly preferred
- Knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association code for electrical safety) and NEC (National Electrical Code) standards
- Ability to read electrical blueprints, schematics, and blueprints with confidence
- Familiarity with conduit bending, electrical wiring techniques, and electrical systems installation processes
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing devices
- Construction site experience or construction background is advantageous
- Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence and understanding of electrical safety procedures
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in a fast-paced environment
