The Activities Assistant will assist in creating/providing appropriate social ACTIVITIES for our community's assisted living residents while maintaining the respect and dignity of each person. Must be a fun, creative, happy, responsible, dedicated person. Our residents are the best and have so much to share!!!!!!!
Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to :
Implement and participate in recreational ACTIVITIES that are scheduled on the monthly activity calendar.
Assist in coordinating appropriate entertainment.
Attends /assists residents on community outings.
Attends/assists in resident special events/holiday outings
Leads daily ACTIVITIES according to the calendar
Cleans and straightens up each area after an activity is completed prior to leaving that area
Understands resident's needs for patience, tactile stimulation, sensory stimulation, re-direction and remains calm in all types of situations.
