Job Title: Onsite Project Manager (NPI Communications & Cross-Cultural Bridge)
Location: Onsite, Fremont / Menlo Park ~3-4 days per week
Job Description is below
What This Role Is
Single point of contact bridging US and MX teams through NPI programs. Stationed in the Fremont office.
Communication is the job; NPI technical knowledge is a bonus.
Key Responsibilities
- Own all NPI-related comms between US and MX teams; translate intent, tone, and urgency across cultures
- Set, document, and manage stakeholder expectations proactively on both sides
- Facilitate cross-functional syncs and own action item follow-through
- Deliver concise status updates and escalation briefs to leadership without being asked
- Be physically present in FRE; build trust with local Meta FTEs and Mexico(MX) team members so issues surface early
- Establish repeatable comms rhythms and escalation paths that outlast the role
Required
- Exceptional communicator in English and Spanish (written and verbal)
- 5+ years in project management, program coordination, or cross-functional comms
- Proven track record managing relationships across geographies and cultures
- Strong expectation-setting and stakeholder management in fast-moving environments
- Bilingual fluency required
Preferred (Nice-to-Have)
- Exposure to NPI or hardware product launch processes
- Manufacturing or supply chain background
- Familiarity with US-MX cross-border or maquiladora environments
- PMP or equivalent credential
What Good Looks Like
- Both teams have one trusted comms contact, and they use it to help align expectations and as Tier 1 “escalation” point
- Escalations are rare because misalignments are caught early
- Leadership gets accurate status without chasing it
