Job Summary
Imaging facility is looking for full-time, part-time, and per diem CT technologists who work well with patients in a fast paced busy environment. Must have strong abilities to stay on schedule and critically think through solutions during challenging situations. Attention to detail is a must. Personal schedule flexibility is preferred. Must be able to provide a high level of patient care.
As a CT Technologist you will required do:
- Ensure patient safety and well being during exam procedures and process.
- Perform high quality CT procedures on patients.
- Explain and guide patients through the procedure and respond to any questions they may have.
- Respond to radiologists concerns in regards to patient scans.
- Engage in meetings and complete tasks as requested by the management team.
- Required to travel occasionally to other facilities to help with coverage when needed.
Must maintain active ARRT(R) certification, California State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology (CRT), Basic Life Support certification (BLS). and a Venipuncture certificate. Must have knowledge of medical and scientific terminology, with the ability to distinguish between types of medical procedures and diagnoses. Knowledge of human anatomy and pathology.
