Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Manage tables efficiently by bussing, resetting, and maintaining cleanliness to uphold sanitation standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using POS systems with cash handling expertise
- Assist with food preparation, food safety practices, and basic food handling to support kitchen staff when needef
- Maintain excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a memorable dining experience
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred, especially in fine dining settings
- Familiarity with Square POS system
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly
- Experience with upselling techniques and sales-driven approaches to enhance revenue
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and bill splitting
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude to collaborate with kitchen staff and fellow servers
Preferred (Bonus Qualifications):
Hospitality management experience.
Barista or specialty coffee experience.
Experience with dessert, café, or upscale casual dining concepts.
Leadership or shift lead experience.
We are open Tuesday through Sunday.
Typical shifts include:
Opening Shift: 11:00 - 4:30 PM
Closing Shift:
4:20 - 9:30 PM
Tuesday–Thursday
4:20 - 10:30 PM
Friday–Sunday
Weekend availability is required.
