Summary
We are seeking a diligent Housekeeper to join our team at Microtel Inn & Suites. In this role, you will be essential in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our hotel, contributing directly to guest satisfaction and the overall quality of their stay.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards.
- Ensure all supplies are stocked and maintained in guest rooms and cleaning carts.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed to ensure timely availability of clean linens.
- Maintain a positive attitude while interacting with guests and team members.
- Follow housekeeping procedures for handling lost and found items.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial services preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment is a plus.
- Knowledge of hospitality standards is beneficial but not required.
