Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of grilled foods according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and kitchen area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to create daily specials and menu items
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management
- Assist in training new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food handling practices
- Participate in menu planning to enhance the dining experience while considering dietary restrictions
Experience
- Previous experience as a cook or grill cook in the food service or culinary industry is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations is essential
- Familiarity with fine dining standards and practices is a plus
- Strong ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
