We are seeking an experienced Matrimonial & Family Law Attorney to join our expanding Manchester, CT office. This is an excellent opportunity for a respected family law practitioner to handle sophisticated matrimonial matters while helping grow a thriving practice. The ideal candidate is a strategic advocate with strong courtroom experience, exceptional client relationship skills, and an established reputation within the family law community.
Mandatory Requirements to Apply
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active admission to the NH Bar in good standing (MA Bar admission is a plus).
- 10+ years of concentrated experience in Matrimonial and Family Law.
- Demonstrated experience handling complex divorce and family law litigation.
- Strong courtroom advocacy, negotiation, mediation, and legal drafting skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships (portable book of business preferred).
- High ethical standards, professionalism, and sound judgment.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Represent clients in contested and uncontested divorces, child custody, parenting time, support matters, and post-judgment proceedings.
- Handle high-net-worth divorce matters involving equitable distribution, alimony, child support, and complex financial issues.
- Draft and negotiate prenuptial, postnuptial, and cohabitation agreements.
- Lead mediations, settlement negotiations, litigation, trials, and appellate matters when necessary.
- Collaborate with Trusts & Estates, Tax, Corporate, Criminal, and Real Estate practice groups while contributing to business development, mentoring, and practice growth.
