As an Electrification Site Solution Development Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Engineering Department supporting multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Electrification Site Solution Development Engineer
Location: Mossville, Illinois
What's the Job?
- Participate in and lead the design and development of electrification site solutions, supporting the full process from requirements analysis to engineering implementation
- Translate customer and site requirements into system- and component-level technical specifications, interface definitions, and design solutions
- Support solution integration, prototype validation, testing, and performance analysis, and participate in issue troubleshooting and improvement activities
- Collaborate with system, electrical, software, mechanical, manufacturing, and quality teams to advance design reviews and technical decisions
- Support technical selection, supplier evaluation, and solution validation for key components and subsystems
What's Needed?
- Degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or related majors)
- Product / solution design and development capability: able to complete solution design, validation, and problem solving in accordance with engineering processes
- Technical analysis and problem-solving capability: strong structured analysis and systems thinking skills
- Cross-team collaboration and communication skills: able to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and clearly articulate technical solutions
- Familiarity with engineering documentation, design review, and test validation processes
