Camp Bow Wow is North America's largest pet care franchise! We provide a safe, clean, and fun environment for dogs to romp, play, and receive love and attention! It's "where a dog can be a dog!" Camp Bow Wow Troy is seeking exceptional Camp Counselors to add to our growing staff.
Shifts
- AM (6:15 AM - 2:30 PM) or (6:15 AM - 1:00 PM)
- PM (11:00 AM - 7:30 PM) or (12:30 PM - 7:30 PM)
- Weekends & Holidays required
- Both part time & full time positions available
Responsibilities
- Monitoring dog play in a group environment (~25 dogs)
- Observe & evaluate dog behavior in a group setting
- Cleaning dog waste inside and outside
- Cleaning & maintaining all cabins (kennels) and play areas
- Feeding, watering, and medicating dogs according to specific instructions
- Communicating effectively with other staff members & pet parents
- Caring for dogs of all breeds & sizes
- Monitoring health and safety of all dogs
- Basic grooming (bathing and nail trims)
- Engaging with pet parents, & basic front desk duties
- Complete a daily checklist independently & as a team player
Looking for positive, friendly, outgoing, reliable team members! Must have patience to work with dogs.
MUST
- Have reliable transportation & driver's license
- Pay close attention to detail
- Be punctual & reliable
- LOVE DOGS <3
- Be able to bend, lift up to 35lbs, stand and be on your feet entire shifts (half hour lunch break given)
- Thrive in a fast paced environment
- Be able to multi-task & follow direction
Experience is preferred, but not required! We train all employees extensively to ensure a positive experience for staff members and our campers!
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $14.50 per hour
